1933
The Company Opens
Our roots can be traced back to 1933 when the company first opened in Fort Worth under the name “Clemens Sheet Metal Works, Inc.”
1956
Second Facility Opens
The company opened a second facility in 1956 under the name “F-M Metal Fabrication, Inc.”
2000
New Ownership
GST acquired these businesses in 2000.
2008
Relocation
Because of rapid growth and expansion, GST relocated to a 122,000 square foot facility on 11 acres in Haltom City, TX.
2012
New Facility Added
GST leased 20,000 additional square feet nearby to accommodate the substantial growth of the business and support inroads into the global marketplace.

GST has grown its capabilities to include laser, water jet, plasma, punching, machining, stamping, powder coating, painting, robotic welding, assembly, on-site installation and design.

Over the past decade, GST has grown its capabilities to include laser, water jet, plasma, punching, machining, stamping, powder coating, painting, robotic welding, assembly, on-site installation and design. With more than 200 employees, we are proud to be one of the largest employers in Haltom City. GST’s customers rely on our creativity, quality and dependability. We are a solutions provider and not simply a sheet metal shop.
